Reuel Evangelista
Reuel grew up in San José and — although life challenges caused him to take more than a decade to graduate from college — he persisted to complete his degree and would not be where he is today without it. As an SJSU Online Enrollment Counselor, he enjoys learning about each future students' story and building a rapport with them to make them feel comfortable and supported. He is also proud that students receive 100% support from when they start their application through graduation. Outside of work, Reuel loves spending time with his family and maltipoos, bowling, and cooking his parent's family recipes.

Mason Rios
Mason grew up in Los Angeles and – although life challenges caused him to take more than a decade to graduate from college—as a single father he persisted to complete his degree and would not be where he is today without it. As an SJSU Online Enrollment Counselor, he enjoys learning about each future students' story and building a rapport with them to make them feel comfortable and supported. He is also proud that students receive 100% support from when they start their application through graduation. Outside of work, Mason loves spending time with his family, American Indian Tribe, weightlifting, boxing, philanthropy, and hiking.

Christa grew up on the East Side of San José and — while her educational journey has been full of challenges as a first generation and transfer student — she is incredibly proud to be a Latina college graduate. As an SJSU Online Enrollment Counselor, she understands that being a non-traditional student is difficult and loves guiding future students and watching them achieve their goals. Outside of work, she is pursuing her dream of completing a Master's Degree in Counseling and Guidance from SJSU.

Analiza grew up in San Jose and is a proud third-generation San Jose State University Spartan. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Higher Education Leadership at SJSU. As an SJSU Online Enrollment Counselor, Analiza enjoys learning about students’ educational and career aspirations and supporting them throughout the admissions process. Outside of work, she loves spending time with family and friends and going to the beach.

Santi Herrera Victor
Santi grew up in the East Bay—while he faced obstacles as a first-generation college student, he is proud to have accomplished his goal of graduating with his bachelor’s degree in Psychology. As an SJSU Online Enrollment Counselor, he is excited to learn about students’ lives and goals, and to support them in achieving those goals through a holistic approach by building relationships with students from the moment they are interested in an online program to the moment they receive their admissions. Outside of work, you can find Santi exploring and discovering new and exciting places to visit and eat.
