CHHS High School Visit Program

The College of Health and Human Sciences (CHHS) at San José State University (SJSU) welcomes high school students to explore the health-related majors for undergraduate studies such as:

• Kinesiology
• Nursing
• Nutrition, Food Science & Packaging
• Public Health
• Social Work

The CHHS High School Visit Program introduces students to our undergraduate programs while providing a firsthand experience of life at SJSU. During the visit, students will learn about a variety of health-related majors, meet with faculty, staff, and/or current students, and gain insight into academic pathways and careers that make a difference in their communities.

Each visit includes:

• Presentations from participating CHHS departments about their undergraduate programs.
• Opportunities to ask questions and interact with faculty, staff, and current SJSU students.
• A campus tour or a King library tour  
• An opportunity to experience the SJSU campus community.

Program Details:

• Visits are approximately 4 hours (8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.).
• Each visit can accommodate up to 45 students.
• Schools must submit registration requests at least five weeks before their preferred visit date.
• Participation is subject to availability and is confirmed by the CHHS team after registration.
• Transportation and meals are not provided.

To request a visit, visit the registration form here. Schools may select a preferred visit date and an alternate date. A confirmation email will be sent once your request has been reviewed and a visit date has been confirmed.
