If the class is open and you meet the class pre-requisite, enroll in the class. No permission number is required for most classes. 

Add: If the class is full, add yourself to the waiting list.

If adding 200-level classes, approval from GAPE* is required and a registration form.

Permission numbers are required to enroll in all classes via MySJSU from this date forward.

Payment Due Date for students who enroll Aug 12 to Sep 11.

Students who register after Sep 11 will have 3 days from the registration date to pay.

Last day to add:

• Online via MySJSU (for undergrad/postbac) without late fee
• Last day to add using Open University Registration Form 
• Submit Audit option: Credit/No Credit Grading Option

Last day to Drop 

• Without a “W” grade.
• 100% refund

Add: Instructor’s signature/permission number. GAPE* approval to add 200-level classes.

Drop: Instructor (or Department Chair), PaCE** and Undergraduate Education's signatures

After this date, no refund for drop class

Enrollment census (No Enrollment allowed)

• Add using Late Enrollment  for all Post-Census Request Form 
• Late Drop/Semester Withdrawal Petition Requirement begines:Undergraduate, Graduate
• Drop with "W" grade using Late Drop Petition.  

Veteran Day - Campus Closed

Last day to

• Submit a Late Enrollment Petition for Post-Census Requests form for current term 
• Withdraw from semester using Petition For Withdrawal form:  Undergraduate, Graduate

Add: Instructor, Department Chair, and PaCE Representative** signatures

Withdraw: Instructor (or Department Chair), PaCE Representative**,  Undergraduate Education Associate Dean's signatures

Thanksgiving Holiday - Campus Closed

• Last day of Instruction
• Last day to complete Coursework for "Incomplete Grades"
