Our researchers empower robotic systems with AI-driven solutions to allow them to have human-like perceptions and make complex decisions. Meanwhile, we improve the safety and autonomy of robotic navigation through intelligent perception and novel algorithms.

Our advanced applications include emergency response robotics; autonomous vehicle navigation; GIS mapping and data collection; and AI-based bridge and road inspection systems. Below is a rotating selection of our standout investigators in these areas.
